This Privacy Policy explains how the The Lost Archive publishing automation ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when it publishes our own short-form videos to our own social media accounts, including TikTok and YouTube.
The Lost Archive is an independent faceless content channel producing short documentaries on history and unsolved mysteries. The App is a private, internal tool used solely by the channel operator to publish the channel's own original videos to the channel's own accounts. It is not offered to, or used by, the general public.
To publish videos on the operator's behalf, the App accesses, through official platform APIs and only with the account owner's explicit authorization:
The App does not collect, access, or process any personal data belonging to viewers, followers, or any third parties.
Accessed information is used for one purpose only: to upload and publish the channel's own videos to the channel's own accounts, and to display our own content's public statistics on a private operator dashboard. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
Authorization tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer (in a protected configuration file) and are not transmitted to, or stored on, any external or third-party server controlled by us. Tokens are transmitted only to the official TikTok and YouTube APIs over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
We do not sell, rent, or share any accessed information with third parties. Data is exchanged only with the official platforms (TikTok, YouTube / Google) strictly to perform the publishing the operator requests.
Tokens are retained only while the integration is active and are deleted when the operator revokes the App's access (through the platform's settings) or removes the local configuration file.
The operator can revoke the App's access at any time from the TikTok or Google/YouTube account security settings. Revocation immediately stops all access.
The App is an internal operator tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any change.
